Kaytech Engineered Fabrics (www.kaytech.co.za) has been providing geosynthetic solutions to the southern African civil engineering community since 1971.  With nearly 40 years of technical expertise in geosynthetics and a manufacturing presence near Cape Town in South Africa, Kaytech service the demand for geosynthetic clay liner projects.  With many successful projects completed and experienced technical experts, their understanding of how geosynthetic clay liners function and perform is world-class.

ELCO Solutions and Kaytech Engineered Fabrics manufacture needle-punched thermally locked geosynthetic clay liners (GCL’s).  This provides a strong GCL that can withstand the imposed forces from the containment structure.

The bentonite used is naturally occurring sodium bentonite (not activated calcitic bentonites) and is utilized in powdered form (not granulated bentonite particles).  As such, our GCL’s provides the best sealing characteristics of any GCL in the world, across many different applications.
